Would You Like To Be More Creative?

Have you been like me and would like to be better at something than you are but have been frustrated by your lack of ability to express yourself?  I have always enjoyed doodling, but have never been a good an artist as I would like to be.  By chance I stumbled across Zentangle, maybe I may have stumble upon something that will allow me to express my artistic talents combined with my enjoyment of doodling.  I also ran across a 100 day challenge, where you do something for 100 days and post the results on Instagram for 100 days straight.  I figure, if I do 100 consecutive zentagles, I will learn a way to do art that will allow me to express myself in an artistic way.  Anyone else try zentagles?  What has your experience been?  Are your frustrated by an inability to express yourself in a satisfying way?  Leave me your impressions and thoughts in a comment.

Welcome Back Kotter!

If you are a little bit older, you probably remember the sitcom Welcome Back Kotter. It starred Gabe Kaplan as Kotter

and even had John Travolta as one of the students. It was a breakthrough for Travolta.

There are several parallels to this show and my blog. I am trying to make a comeback of sorts. I plan to document that journey here and like Mr. Kotter I try to make witty saying like, “Up your nose with a rubber hose.” You have been warned. I have a couple of goals in starting back up. I have lost over 100 lbs before and lived a good life. I never thought I would gain all of my weight back, but then I never thought that I would ever have a sub-dural hematoma and suffer from traumatic brain injury (TBI) as a result. I hope to get back in shape again and drop the weight again. I invite you to join along and even try to join me as most of us need to in losing weight. I will talk about the good and the bad and what I am doing to get back to where I want to be. Please subscribe.
